Sarah is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and Registered Play Therapist-Supervisor (RPT-S). Sarah received her M.A. and Ed.S. in counseling from James Madison University and worked in Richmond Virginia before practicing in the Fairfax area. She treats adults, adolescents, children, and their families and has specialized training in play therapy, expressive art therapy, men’s issues, and trauma and loss. Sarah has public speaking experience on topics of parenting, adolescents, trauma, group therapy, and play therapy. Her counseling experience includes program development and implementation of trauma programs serving sexually abused children and their families. She also provides clinical supervision and consultation services to other clinicians, residents, and interns.
