Catherine Rubin is a board certified art therapist. She received her Masters in Professional Studies in Creative Art Therapy from Pratt Institute. Catherine has extensive experience working with children and teens with cancer and other life-threatening illnesses and their families. She is also very well versed in trauma and grief work as well as treatment for anxiety and depression. Catherine is comfortable serving individuals of all ages, but specializes in working with children and young adults. She uses art therapy to create a safe, nurturing space for individuals to express feelings and events which are difficult to process verbally.
